Over on the left hand side of my bookshelf page, there are green checkmarks.  Some have strike thru marks and others don't.  When I "hover" the mouse over them, they show either posted or not posted into the system.  Why are the strike thru marks on some of my books?

This is probably something simple, but couldn't figure it out!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Melanie

This is a new feature PBS implemented awhile back.  The green checks indicate books you currently have on your shelf.  The checks with a strike thru mark are books you've received through PBS but have not re-posted onto your bookshelf.  Of course, you are not obligated to repost, but this feature is supposed to make it easier for you to do so if you want to - all you do is select the book and hit "repost."  If you don't like the way your shelf looks with all this extraneous info, you can change the view from "all books" to "posted books" in the little drop down menu.

The books with the strike thru marks are not available for other people to read yet. They are on hold until you finish them. when you receive a book it adds the book to your shelf unless you tell it not to. I delete them from my bookshelf and just use the TBR pile to see what I have to read, IMO it makes things easier.

I recognized some of the titles as books I'd rec'd but thought that I'd already posted at least 4 of them!  WIll double check my shelf at home!  Thanks to you both for your prompt help!
