If this is not allowed...please let me know and I will do what I can to delete what I can.  I mailed two books on Thursday.  With New Years I thought they may get a little backed up.  However, two of my long time wish list books have become available.  I waited it out hoping to get the credits for my two books but this morning one of my WL books expired.  I just checked and the next one expires in 3 hours.  I checked in the BB and see that there are credits for sale but they all say that they will post usually within a couple hours...I would hate to buy credits only to have them sent to me after my WL book expires.  Is there any way to "borrow" a credit from someone and then buddy it back as soon as my books are marked received?  I HATE cyber-begging.  Therefore, I would assume others do too and theres probably a rule about this one way or the other.  ANy help is appreciated.  Erika

Actually this type of request should be posted in the Book Bazaar Forum.  In the meantime, I've sent you a credit.  Just pay it forward.

The rules are Here...

  • Requests to "lend a credit". Members sometimes ask for credits to be lent to them. This is okay as long as members follow these rules:
  • The topic needs to be in the Book Bazaar Discussion Forum and no other forum
  • The original post in the topic should specify clearly (1) how many credits are needed (maximum 6) and (2) a timeframe to repay them.
  • Any members who lend credits in response to these threads must post in the topic that they have given credits, and how many.
  • When the member who asked for a loan has gotten the credits she needs, she must edit the topic title and the original post to say "Thank you--no more replies needed!" .
  • No member should post a topic asking to borrow credits more than once per month, and can do this a maximum of 2 months in a row.  So it is okay to ask in January and again in February, but that same member cannot ask again after that until April.
  • Anyone giving credits to a member in response to this kind of topic who expects repayment should send a PM saying "I have lent you [x number of] credits - pay me back when you can".
  • Anyone giving credits to a member in response to this kind of topic who does NOT expect repayment should include in her PM "I have sent you [x number of credits] - no need to repay".
  • These credit loan topics may not appear anywhere but Book Bazaar. The original poster may bump the topic if she needs to only once.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!  I really appreciate it and I totally get where this should be posted now.  Thanks.  It's my fault for being too lazy to look it up...I've seen this type of stuff before.  But when I saw my second book was going to expire so quickly I think I just panicked.  Thanks again.

Erica, I just loaned you two credits. Not sure if you are replying to my loan or not...  If you now have 4 credits and don't need the two I just sent you, please return at your convenience.  Thanks.
