This novel is very well written. The characters are well-drawn and Muller is one of the best at putting the reader there. I had shivers when she and Hy were in sub-zero weather in Minnesota. An excellent novel!

1997 follow-up to Muller's well-received "Broken Promise Land." Fast-paced, with lots of action and bold characters, including flight instructure Matty Wildress. PI Sharon McCone embarks on a dangerous 'personal vendetta.' My note from 2001 says: "EXCELLENT!".
