It looks interesting, but not a time period I usually read. Debbie

Deborah, last year I read and enjoyed The Widow's War  by this author, and apparently the heroine of that novel also plays a secondary role in Bound.  Haven't read it yet, but it is on our wish list.

I remember Valli commenting about this book not being as good as the first, but still enjoyable. Here's a link to her post.

(Don't ask my why I remember stuff like this when I can't remember what I had for lunch today!)

Gosh, Genie, you really do have a good memory! I am so jealous! I have a terrible memory. Well, I don't know if I really have a horrible memory or if I'm forgetful because I'm always biting off more than I can chew, lol.

Okay, back to the book...

I really loved "The Widows War", but I've also heard others say they enjoyed "Bound" more than "Widow", so I think it's probably just a matter of personal taste. They are both absolutely worth reading; I know that! The two books are loosely connected, but I wouldn't think you'd need to read "Widow" before reading "Bound". I read them in order, but mainly because I'm really anal about reading books in order, lol.

If you read it, let us know what you think!

I've read both books by Ms. Gunning and loved them both!
