If it were the 1880s, and you wanted to die violently, how would you go about it? Well, probably the surest way is to go down to Mexico to hunt Apaches.

Leonard's first book, originally published back in 1953.

Well done and an interesting story. I'd recommend it for Leonard fans not aware of his early history in Western novels.
