I should probably know the answer to this, but I don't.  I found a boxed set of 3 paperbacks of Stephen King today and the ISBN# is "wished" by 2-3 members.   I found it at a thrift store (haven't bought it yet) and it is priced at about the price of 3 books.  If I list it under the ISBN# and somebody requests it, how can I go about getting 3 credits for it?  I suspect that the individual books are not necessarily "wished" by anybody, but I don't want to buy it at the price of 3 books and get only one credit for it.  Somebody let me know the answer if you know it.  Tomorrow is "senior discount day" and I want to buy it then if I buy it at all.  Thanks.

The issue for me is now moot.  I went back to the thrift store and somebody had bought the set of books before I got there.  I'll leave this thread in existence, though, for general interest.

Winston, in the past people have advertised boxed sets in the Bazaar.  There is no other way to get the 3 credits through the FIFO system...

here's the help topic about this: http://www.paperbackswap.com/help/help_item.php?id=232

basically, one ISBN # = 1 credit.  so you'd have to post them separately rather than as a box to get 3 credits, and it may not be worth it.

You can always advertise them in your signature line and the Book Bazaar.  Make it clear you want 3 credits for the set and will only send the books as a set.  When someone's interested, you post all 3 books by their individual ISBNs and the requestor requests all 3 from your shelf.
