Very cute, and it's wonderful how things play out. This book is written in email format, with subject lines and the to from so you know who the emails are from, but after a few pages, you quickly pick up on the voices behind the emails and you stop looking at the to from section. This does involve a mystery and it is very very interesting to see how the suspects line up.

This book is such a fun read. I didn't know what to make of the email format at first, but after I while I started to like it. It was a really funny and entertaining story. I blasted through the book pretty quickly. It was like spying on people gossiping at the water cooler.

Loved it! Made me belly laugh while reading it. Can't wait to start the next one!
In the mood for something different? This fun story is told entirely by the correspondence of the characters. Humor, drama, and romance! I enjoyed this very much.
Meg Cabot does it again. I loved this book.

Frivolous-but fun fiction...a fast addictive read.

Who Is... The Boy Next Door? {Melissa Fuller desperately needed to know!} Is he really Max Friedlander, notoriously wild, famously self-centered fashion photographer-newphew of poor old comatose Mrs. Friedlandler? {But he seems so nice!} Has he come to relieve Mel of the burden of having to walk {or be walked by} Mrs. F's monster Great Dane, Paco-so maybe she can start to work on time and maybe keep her job at the New York Jpurnal. HE's not really trying to find out who assaulted his "aunt" in her own home and why, is he? All by himself? Isn't that dangerous? And how can one man be this gorgeous, funny, charming, fearless, sexy and mysterious? {And why the heck does he want Mel to call him "John"? Anyone with information, please email melissa.fuller@thenyjournal.com-and hurry... because she'd headed for BIG trouble!
Romance, murder, mistaken identity, all wrapped up into 389 pages of Meg Cabot's best.
a very GOOD read
It's a fun fast read. All done in e-mail format. The characters are quite intertaining.
