Abby decides to take on a new job of working for the UN compiling vaccine statistics. She isn't happy with her current job and her recently failed relationship leaves her emotional and vulnerable. She isn't sure what to expect with her new location. When she sees a woman falling from the railing of a balcony, she doesn't think, but rushes to the woman's aid. It's too late, but Abby gets a good look at the bracelet the woman is wearing before she is rushed off my a strange man.

But as the the story unfolds, things will come full circle to the woman from the balcony. Abby meets Nick at the camp she's working at. He's a prize winning journalist who is doing some research. He may be just the thing to help Abby heal her heart. With a look into the tragic and horrors of human trafficking, a murder, a blossoming romance and compelling writing, The Bracelet is an enthralling read. With memorable characters and vivid location details, The Bracelet is intriguing and page-turning. Highly recommend!

A different kind of setting, taking place in Pakistan was an interesting place to this suspenseful thriller centered around human trafficking and the current happenings in this volatile country. With the author putting two huge topics into one book, as the reader, I didn't feel overwhelmed, I loved how both the issues interacted with each other in the story and how one can affect the other.
