I can't figure out why I would want a book to be on hold  ( on my bookshelf) that I received  in the mail.  Is that button new or have I ignored it before??  Is it so you can list them easier after you have read them??  I'm brain mushed and can't figure out if I should say yes or no.  I don't see anything in settings to change the default of no.  help!!

Awhile back they merged the "books to repost" with your bookshelf and now books you order go to your bookshelf with a hold on them instead of being in a separate spot. I find it kind of confusing also. If you go to the spot that says "view" on the upper rh side, you can choose to view only posted books or only books on hold.

It's supposed to be so that when you've read the book you can just unhold it and it'll get posted into the system.  I don't like them on there so I just tell it not to put them on my shelf.  Most of the ones it put on automatically had already been sent out and I had to delete them.  I just want to see whats currently posted.  The others in there just confuse me.  I have a TBR pile for those.
