These hard-as-nails handsome ex-military types and the women they love are becoming their own genre. And as far as this genre goes, it was average, typical. But add a star if you're into this stuff. This book didn't have the intensity of some of the Suzanne Brockmann books, but then, her entire career is writing of this sort. The sex was strictly vanilla, and not that well written. And the ending left me with the blahs. One of my friends was absolutely ga-ga over this book, but it didn't do a thing for me.

this book was just ok. I like this author and enjoyed the previous books in the series (especially "shattered"), but this book didn't have alot of action or romance.

I truly enjoyed like the previous three books in the series it kept you on edge wanting to know what happened next.It was hard to put down. I just wish it was not the last in this series but would continue on.
