Author: Owl Goingback
From "one of our most accomplished writers of horror fiction" (Terry Brooks) comes a new novel set in the historical town of St. Augustine, Florida, a magnet for tourists. But one site is off limits even for locals: the Tolomato Cemetery. Because behind its iron gates, history is coming alive. Grave by grave.

This starts out as a pretty standard Evil-Spirits-from-Indian-Burial-Ground thriller but takes a turn midway into "Topper Meets Cthulhu". The monster is creepy and gory until the big finish, when the descriptions just go over the top and begin to get silly. There is a truly unexpected twist to the finale, but overall this one doesn't prompt me to find more by this author.

I read this book in one afternoon. It was not because I couldn't put it down.It was a fast read becuase this book is of very little substance.A sarcastic Indian Chief? A ignorant heroine? I enjoyed Goingbacks previos novels, hopefully his one is a glitch.
