Just heard Brian Jacques, author of the Redwall Series passed away of a heart attack Feb 7th.  I know many people read these books as children, I came to them just in the last 5 years and loved them.  I felt like a kid at story time in elementary school and got lost in the adventures, had my mouth water at the descriptions of fabulous feasts and cheered on the heroes like Martin and Mariel (a feisty mouse if ever there was one).

I began to listen to the audio versions and loved Mr. Jacques narration, his gravelly voice was wonderful to listen to as other actors squeaked and growled their lines, even singing their little ditties.

R.I.P. Mr. Jacques, you will be missed, you jolly fellow
