Had not read this author before so I was pleasantly surprised to discover her sharp wit. The story was entertaining and the characters multi-layered and interesting. The only problem that I had with the story was the cutting instead of biting by the vamps. I know that sounds crazy and I know there are other stories that this happens in but I don't think of it as their "main" access to blood. It reminded me of a teenager that I know with a cutting fetish...sorry but it did. As I said this was the first book I have read by this author but as she made me laugh out loud several times I will be on the look out for another. Milagro is one cool chica.

I was impressed with this 3rd book in this series. I loved the ending. I felt that the main character finally becomes a mature adult, less insecure. She remember who she is, smart funny, talented, loved by her friends.

Then the last few pages, she gives you the 1st chapter of book one again. WHY? who care? I read it. WOW! Reading that 1st chapter just reminded me why I loved the series.
