Home for Christmas was formula Heather Graham Civil War romance; I enjoyed Jo Beverly's The Wise Virgin and wished it was longer, with knights & castles & adventure. I didn't think Candace Camp was as good, with several glaring plot holes such as leaving her son, who from the story line I assumed was approx. 9 or 10, alone in a new home on a ranch as soon as she arrived and went to work at the house nearby for the day with no concern about where he was or what he was doing. I was surprised because I really enjoy her writing.

This book is a collection of three quick read stories centered around the Christmas season. They are sweet, upbeat, and simplistic written by 3 great authors. I personally liked the medieval story by Jo Beverly and the story of the Yankee captain by Heather Graham. These were my favorites.
The stories are short and quick to read. I would recommend this if you enjoy old historical romances.

Another enjoyable anthology with a nice mixture of different time periods. My favorite of the 3 was Candace Camp's Tumbleweed Christmas and particularly enjoyed the interaction of the 2 main characters. While I'm unsure if the other 2 stories are new, Camp's story is a release. All in all a good read.
