The lady was not for sale

Selena Merrick anticipated having a pleasant vacation in New Orleans. She was even lighthearted enough to joke with a group of conventioneers who mistakenly thought she was a lady of the night.

I enjoyed this story as I have always wanted to sail on a Missippi steam boat. I felt like I was onboard the boat.
