I kept seeing this book pop up on my slider arrow crawler and it looks interesting!  Have any of y'all read it or have it on your bookshelf?

I've never heard of it but read through the description and the reviews..doesn't sound like my thing I don't think. and sometimes those British authors(think it said UK) are hard to get into(at least for me) and looks like the reviews vary from liking it to not being able to get into it.

I read it. I didn't really like it. Its not a HEA story, at least not to me.

I have it sitting on my shelf because I bought it and couldn't get into it. There must be something good about it because it was fairly popular.

It was a DNF for me.  It sounded good, but it just didn't hold my interest.  I also wasn't crazy about the style of writing.  I'm sure someone out there liked it, but I didn't.  Oh well, to each their own.

Thanks to Jenny B., I was able to read the book and finished it a few days ago.  It was a little hard to get into, and it was very graphic and bold, but I loved NG's style of writing.  It wasn't a Happily Ever After by any means, and I was kind of upset at the ending, because I always want to know what happens!  I did go through stages where I hated the main character because I felt like she was acting so selfish, but at least she admitted it herself.  However, there where also times in which I had symphathy for her since she seemed like she was in a black hole.
