Do you think Helen Felding will write another book about Bridget Jones? This is my all time favorite chick lit book. In fact, it's the book that got me hooked on reading chick lit. I just finished watching Bridget Jones: Edge of Reason and fell in love with the whole story all over again. I would love to have another Bridget Jones book come out. Anyone hear anything? |

Hmmm I did a bit of research and its not looking good. Her latest release was a collection of 3 books called Word Play and included Bridget Jones's Diary (1996), The Edge of Reason (1999) and Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination (2003). It would be great if she did more with Bridge Jones though. I love her books and movies.

You're welcome! Now, I just wish she'd finish the book, b/c there's already rumors of a 3rd movie. :) |

I just watched the first movie with my husband last night. LOL. I had to explain the whole Darcy reference thing, which was left out of the movie.

Can I ask a question of those of you who are fans of the book(s)? I have only seen the movies, but have wondered about the books. Is it worth it to read the books if I have already seen the movies (multiple times- love them, at least the first one anyway)? I know there are always differences between the books and movie adaptations, but would having already seen the movie versions ruin the books for me? TIA! Lesley |

I would definitely recommend reading them. I have watched the first movie countless times and I still enjoy reading the book. There are some differences, but the movie and the book compliment each other well, at least in my opinion. :) |
