Glenn Beck and Kevin Balfe have conducted very extensive research to present factual and historical information to allow us to evaluate, How and why this country was started (and why), presenting several historical turning points (that they felt were significant to the current situation) and providing their unbiased opinion on steps to take to help bring us back from the brink of a national disaster of spending.
Glenn and Kedvin have written, basically, a text book, chocked full of information, charts graphs, historical information. This allows us to read, evaluate and analyze the information to come to our own conclusion(s) on the current state of affairs.
I find it difficult to watch Gleen Beck on TV, because I get a little upset and some of the informaiton he presents on his show and its difficult to walk away from the television while he's on. However, the book allows me the opportunity to read, evaluate and absorb the information and I can walk away from the book (temporarilly) and return right back to the same spot where I left off.
Its important to read and evaluate all options to allow us to make our own decisions. Glenn give us this opportunity.

This book a great look at the root economic problems that the US faces and how social, political and economic policies have led the US to this point in history. The book is well cited so the reader can do the research themselves. Read the book with a mind to question what you think you know and ready to research things for yourself. I recommend the book to everyone.
