Is there any way to keep the setting for 50 or 100 per page, or does it always go to 10, then I have to change it each time? With slow dial up, it takes even longer to find the buddy I want to click on!

I think the fact that it keeps resetting is a glitch. You're not alone, though, I think the problem is pretty widespread, if not systemic.
