One of my buddies does not have a dot next to her name at all---that's the dot that is red or green to show you if they are online when you are. What's up with that?

I think there is a selection whether or not to allow your buddies to see if you are online or not...she may have it selected to not let anyone know.

You can set your Privacy Controls so your buddies don't know if you are online or not. This person has that setting activated so it doesn't show when she's online.
