Ok, so I just "had" to come over and check this thread out.......  Someone's signature line kept getting me all hot and bothered and she told me about the "L&R" section in the forums.    Well, guess what?  HERE I AM!!!!!!

What all have I missed, and how well do I have to "behave" over here???  :P

Welcome!  The real juicy stuff is usually in the Guess the Book threads - those tend to lean towards the erotic and it's MURDER on your WL! lol  I see that you're reading 9 books but none are romance. Have you ever read romance?  Are you looking for some suggestions?  Or just the dirty talk? ;)

Hi! welcome! all kinds of stuff being discussed over here! like Susan said, a lot of the 'guess the book' threads(currently just one but we've had 3-4 going at a time) will expand your wishlist like no one's business! also the weekly 'what are we reading' thread gives some great ideas too! if there's a particular romance book or author you don't see mentioned you can start a thread..depending on what/who it is there may be a lot of responses and sometimes takes  a week or so for someone to see it and respond. my orders increased greatly when I found this forum..now instead of just contemporary I'm into erotic romance, historical, paranormal..you name it! contemporary light/funny/sexy is still my favorite.

I know we've had topics asking for recommendations from 'sweet romance little to no sex' to 'gimme sex sex sex'(erotica) so just skimming through all the pages of threads will give you an idea.

good to see you over here! :-)

Yeah the threads right now are pretty tame.  But if you skim back you'll find some more risque ones.  Like the one look for a um certain position of sex scene in books-one that not everyone is in to if you know what I mean.

We're talking about bondage in the Lora Leigh thread.

And usually people use the sex scenes in the guess the book game thread.

Are you a romance reader?

Sometimes I wonder if people coming in L&R to read realize the "Love & Romance" section is about the book genre "romance" and not necessarily a place where we discuss our actual love lives unless it's related to books we are reading...

"Behaving" pretty much means following the club rules about being courteous and respectful.

Welcome and enjoy! You can certainly look through all the past posts to see if we are discussing anything that interests you.

Hi Ladiessssss!!   Thank you for the warm "Welcome"!!

Let's see..... I have read Romance in the past and LOVE it.  Lately, I have been doing a lot of "soul searching" and reading as much Non-Fiction as possible.   If I start back up with Romance, I'd like something funny and sexy, and something I will remember for a while. I like books that teach me something, give a little insight or something like that.  Yeah, I'm picky.  hehe

Susan asked if I want some suggestions....  Sure!  Reading Erotica and Romance got me all horned up as a teenager, and as an old married woman now, it can't hurt to stir up some heat!  :P

Welcome, Dawn!

You know, I never check the 'guess the book' thread...I've checked it a few times and I never have a clue what the books are. But I'll check it from now on, LOL!
