The second title in the de Burgh series finds Geoffrey de Burgh ordered to wed the Fitzhugh, an infamous termagant who killed her first husband in cold blood.

The Fitshugh woman was a wild creature who trusted noone and allowed nothing. This is a well written account of a very different kind of heroine and the wonderful man who learned to love her. Highly recommended.
