I know I can transfer credits from the swapacd site. I was thinking about buying some credits here...too many wishlist books not enough credits. I noticed that the cd credits are cheaper than the book credits for sale in the their respective bazaars. Is it allowed to buy credits from one and transfer them to the other. I have 1 cd credit now that I can't transfer. it tells me that I need to make a swap first. Would the bought ones be the same? |

Until you do a swap, you will be unable to transfer any credits. Once you complete the swap, you are allowed to buy from one site and transfer to another site. Good luck. |

Is the credit you were trying to transfer the free start up credit you received for posting CDs? Those are only good on the site they are granted on to the person it was granted to and can't be transferred at all. Or have you not had ANY swapping activity at all on the CD site? You can buy on one site and transfer to another, but I am not sure if you can do that on an account that has never had any activity in it at all. If you haven't ever sent or received a CD on the account there, I would recommend sending in Feedback on that site and ask the Team before purchasing them just to be sure.

I don't know anything about transferring between sites, but you might check the Book Bazaar forum for people selling credits. Often they sell them cheaper than they are to buy through the kiosk. |

Thanks for the answers. I think I got what I was after. I have had activity on the cd site. I have already transferred some credits from there to here. I was just wondering if bought credits could transfer...I should have just shortened my post and asked that right off. |

That's what I read with your post. I went to the CD site and couldn't find anything about buying credits there to transfer here. The best thing to do would be to post the question on the CD site. |

If you purchase a credit from either site the cost is the same- $3.45 per credit. The cost to ship a CD is much less, hence the savings on the earned credit. |
