for a mailing label to someone that hasn't requested a book.  I know I've seen this question asked before - and I did gosearching back about 3 months for it - can't find it.  So can anyone walk me through the steps?  I know it has to do with putting up a common book to my shelf, printeing the label, and then taking the book off my list!  Or something like that!  I greatly appreciate any info.

You need to Mail a Book to a Friend.  Post a dummy book (make sure it's not WL) click on your bookshelf, click Mail to a Friend and then fill in the address info.  It'll then put it in you Books To Mail tab.  Then you can print out a label/postage like a regular book request.  I do this for game books.  I usually use a Stephen King book because I don't read him and there's a lot of his books available. So when I see a King book in my transaction archive I know it was for a game.

For BOB requests, if I don't feel like going to the PO: I repost one of the books, pick the mail to a friend option and add the weight of the other books and packaging to get the right postage.

If the book I'm sending is not WL than I just post that one. I should have clarified that.  I use a Stephen King book if it's WL.
