1CAN CREAM OF POTATO SOUP,1CAN CREAM OF CELERY SOUP,1CAN CREAM OF ONION SOUP,1-LB.CRABMEAT,1 SOUP CAN OF WATER, 1 STICK BUTTER, 1-QT.MILK, 1 LARGE CAN EVAPORATED MILK,5 HEAPING TSP.FLOUR. IN A LARGE POT COMBINE SOUPS,CRABMEAT,WATER AND BUTTER. STIR TOGETHER HEAT MILK,CREAM AND FLOUR MIXED WITH WATER. BRING TO BOIL, STRAIN INTO SOUP MIXTURE AND HEAT.

I don't understand the strain into soup mixture part. Wouldn't you be straining all the crabmeat out?
