I think it is a tribute to Nora Ephron's talents that she could engross me in a book of essays written in the 1970s about topics I didn't have much knowledge or interest in. Although it may seem a bit dated, her engaging style of writing got me interested in just about anything she wanted to write about. I definitely plan on searching out more of her books!

Very amusing reflections on women in general and also some famous women in particular. Its as amusing and real today as it was when it was a bestseller by this noted columnist in 1975

I have enjoyed several movies produced or directed by Ms. Ephron, but this collection of articles that she wrote in the 70's are very dated and far too militant feminist for my taste!
