I devoured this book in one sitting. Freda Lippi is overjoyed when her despised husband disappears. Unfortunately, her prized parrot is also missing, leaving her distraught. Freda sets out on a journey to find out for sure if her despised husband is really gone.... a journey full of twists, surprises and an exploration of her past experiences that led up to her marraige. With a comic style, the author takes you into Freda's tragic and lonely past. The end leaves you guessing and wanting more. I was only sad that it ended. I loved this book and am very glad I had the opportunity to read it. I would recommend it to all..... I will definitely be looking for some other books by this author

Another great Lily Prior book. Her books are a little "off the wall" and yet they are hard to put down. I am always on the look out for her new books.
