Search - The Cabin (Texas Rangers, Bk 2)

I thought the overall story and concept of this book could have been a good story. also i chose it because it was partly based on an area of the country where I am from. however as a mystery it lacked any action until the very end. The banter between the two lead characters went on and on. I never give up on a book but I couldn't wait for this ending as it took 2/3 of the book to get a start. Perhaps if I cared more for romances that the heroine needed wooing I would have liked it but if you are a more 'hard core" mystery fan ex. Greg Iles, ect. I would not give this a good rating.

Have not had a chance to read this, yet. Belong to several reading groups and this is not up for discussion until December. :)

This was a very great book till the end. I would like to see other books of hers.

This was my first Carla Neggers book. I really enjoyed it. I'll be reading more!
