very funny...Calamity Jayne didn't get her nickname for nothing! The cast of characters is hilarious.
Similar to Stephanie Plum, so if you like Janet Evanovich, you'll like this one.

Absolutely loved it. This is the first in the series and it really sucks you in. Best to start with this one first so you get acquanited with the characters. If you love Janet Evanovich's Stepahanie Plum, then you'll love Calamity Jayne. This book made me laugh out loud!

Cute mystery, I guess the first of a series, and I liked it enough to put the follow-ups on my Wish List. Although I just can't imagine what other calamities Jayne can get herself into...

Funny, funny, funny. And don't forget to read the sequels: "Calamity Jayne Rides Again" and "Ghouls Just Want To Have Fun".

Too funny! Filled with one liners and oddball characters and set in contemporary Iowa farm country. Blonde "Calamity Jayne", nicknamed by her brother's pal and her nemisis "Ranger Rick" really get on each other's last nerve everytime they run into each other. Tressa Jayne sets out to get the last word as she competes with Ranger Rick to catch a murderer in their backyard.

It is a funny mystery, easy read.
Tressa Jane is up to her eyeball in trouble. Finding a body in the trunk of a car she mistakenly thought was hers begins a madcap adventure. This book is hysterically funny from the front to back. I whole heartedly enjoyed it and gave it 5 stars.
How does a blonde spell "farm", e-i-e-i-o. Tressa Jayne is tired of the blond jokes and her nickname. She sets out to gain a little respect by solving a murder no one else belives happened...no one except the killer.
