Just upgraded Calibre today, and one of the new tweaks will be of interest to Kindle Fire Owners. The latest Calibre version now supports the new KF8.

It's a Beta Add so there will be some bugs, but past experience with developer Kovid Goyal means he will tweak it until its almost perfect.  Of course, I only have the Basic Kindle, but its good news for you "High End" Kindle users.

Kovid has a wonderful program. Love it.

I don't know how I'd keep track of all my regular books, let alone my fanfic, without Calibre. It's why I try to remember to donate something at least once a year.

Calibre is one of the "Free Apps" I support periodically when I try to keep my "Pay Pal" account with round numbers (no cents and no crooked numbers).
