I was looking at my book shelf and saw a book with a number attached to it. It had the option of calling the number from Skype. Whose number is this? I would not call it I was just curious as to why it was on there. I have not noticed that option before.

The book is Beware of Doug by Elaine Fox

Skype tries to turn any number with the right digits into a phone number!

Your browser probably has a plug-in that highlights what it thinks are phone numbers, and makes them into links. It's not part of this website.

What Kim said.  ISBN-10 numbers are the right number of digits as a phone number, so if they start with a 1 (instead of with a 0) Skype will often pick them out as a phone number.  It might not even work if you did try to call it.
