I love this one and I'm looking forward to reading the next three in the series! Five Immortal brothers who fight to keep the balance between light and dark magic and our first one Adrian meets his match in Amber, a delightful witch in distress. I find dragons with colds adorable! An enjoyable read from beginning to end!

This is a great book. So much so that I went out and bought The Awakening. Now I'm looking for the other two.

I read this book after reading the second one. This one was definitely better than the second. I have ordered the series and hope the second was just a fluke. I do like Jennfier Ashley. The story was captivating and the love story was very touching, though the fight scenes between the demon were a bit unblievable. The author kept letting the demon get away easily, I guess to carry the story on, but they did not make the demon powerful enough for it to keep escaping and some of the scenes did not flow especially when you read how powerful the immortal was. The ending was a little anti-climatic.

I just finished the Calling and it kept me wanting more- I'm now heading for the next book in this series. Interesting the way the characters are presented- I get to know them intimately and feel apart of the family. Jennifer Ashley is new to me and I will now look for her books. You will enjoy this one.

A white witch is murdered by a demon who is trying to take over the world. The sister (another white witch) is being attacked by the demon when an Immortal comes in to 'save the day'.

Not your every day good vs evil....lots of twists and turns.

This is book 1 of 6 in a series written by several authors.

I haven't read much with witches the like but this was a quick enjoyable read. I want to say it was some what intricate fluff. IF that makes any sense.
