Topic: Calling all teachers! I need help writing article on teaching "needs kids"

The topic is "teaching the needs child"  from the teacher's point of view.

Great! I have a grandchild whom I homeschool. He has Autism and goes to enrichment classes on Tuesday's. The teacher's there are trying to find better ways of teaching special needs kids in their classroom. There seem to be an abundance of kids with Autsim this year. Not surprising. They need ideas and MY point of view as a homeschooling grandparent and a parent of a special needs child, I have one day to do a newpaper article. Got the request at 7 this evening. Great! 

Does anyone have any off the cuff ideas?
