This story has great characters, just the right amount of history, and lots of adventure. From the very beginning there is a clear plot, and it is not just about the love relationship. The heroine is a very strong and empowered lady. I enjoyed this book!

Magnificent Read,

When I first read the back cover of this book I was not very sure about it. So it went on the bottom of my pile. I am so glad I decided to read it. I love romance books with both strong heros and heroines. That is exactly what you get in this book. The love that grows between Alex and Cloud is very believable and you understand why they care for eachother. Something that is sometimes missing from other romance novels. The plot of the story is also very interesting and full of action. I never became bored while reading. I think one of the hardest challenges a writer can face is how to keep the female strong and independent without stompping all over the male. Jo Goodman did an excellent job and I hope to find more books like this one.
