This book has information about different birds and great pictures. It also has some interesting facts in it. Ex: Carolina Wrens sometimes build their nests in funny places. ...you might find one in a pocket of a pair of pants on the clothesline or in a open mailbox.

Starlings can fly up to 55 mph. That's twice as fast as other common birds.

chickadees are friendly birds sometimes they will eat out of your hand.

a good resource book.

A very nice book for kids to learn about some of the more common birds. Nicely illustrated!

This bird guide features many colorful diagrams of birds on glossy pages. The text is easy to read and understand, as well as bringing across many important and fascinating details (for instance, woodpeckers have barbs on the ends of their tongues) in a comprehensive format. Great for youngsters.
