2nd book in the Carlucci trilogy....better than the 1st which was awsome!!! I highly recommend this trilogy. Mystery fans, who are not necessarily SciFi fans will love these books also. And if you are familiar with San Francisco today, you will want to know about San Francisco in the future. Highly recommended.

Richard Paul Russo has fully developed the character, Lt. Frank Carlucci, in this cyberthriller. Lt. Carlucci briefly appeared in Destroying Angel. Russo has once again created cyberfuture characters that are realistic enough to be citizens of todays urban landscapes dealing with issues of survival, trust and betrayal. His clever use of grunge/punk music as the backdrop for the story provides evidence of one who respects the environment inhabited by the youthful characters. His portrait of a cop who understands forces within the world of politics and law enforcement that sometimes prevent those victimized from obtaining justice is realistically crafted.

If you like well written thrillers, authors who carefully craft believable characters and provide the reader with realistic endings that do not insult your intelligence or stretch your credibility, then Richard Paul Russo's Carlucci's Edge is the book for you.
