I loved this delightful book of well written short stories by many of the day's great SF authors. It manages to have just the right blend of seriousness to allow it to be written as more than slapstick, while still retaining just the right wink and nod level of humor to never take itself so seriously as to forget its inherently wacky premise.

As far as I understand, this book was written in a genuine spirit of fun, and published more to share the laugh than to make money. If only there were more such happy collaborations on the market!

A great romp through the silliness of a filk song and various writers (and occasionally author/filkers') take on the same. No two stories come close to the same, and they make for a book to read, re-read, treasure, and read some more.
