I was very disappointed in this book. Others by her were great; it was a cute idea, but very boring to read.

The storyline in this book was really strange, but I can't say it wasn't unique. I liked it ok, but not as well as others by Deveraux.

I was a bit surprised at how quickly the ruse is revealed, but then the book really takes off!

Two young women who look exactly alike change places each after what the other posseses. This was a good "beach" read and I enjoyed it. I am a fan of Jude Deveraux, but I honestly felt that this was not her greatest but certainly not her worst.

A very light read, a book to take along when you're sitting in the doctor's office, etc. Not one of Jude Deveraux's best. But it does have it's moments and some funny [?] circumstances.

Ariel and Sara never imagined their high-spirited attempt to step into each other's shoes would cause such upheaval. The lifelong pen pals, who look exactly alike, meet for the first time in their twenties and embark on a daring adventure of changing identities. Southern belle Ariel is determined to win the heart of a man who doesn't know she exists, while Sara yearns to leave behind her hardscrabble existence and taste the good life that fate has denied her. But in pretty Arundel, North Carolina, nothing is as it seems -- including the dangers that are closing in on their new dream lives, as the deepest of fears and darkest of secrets and betrayals come to light.

The author uncovers the passions and scandals that take a small town by storm when two cousins switch lives. (The cover is a little different but its the same ISBN number, author and etc)

Typically Jude Deveraux. A great summer read. Two cousins switch lives, find true love and almost get themselves and everyone else killed in the process. A spoiled Southern belle and a New York working girl fall out of the same family tree, and head into adventure.

This really is a nice read, although not one of Jude Deveraux's best. The ending seems hurried and a little weird. I am still glad I read it, though, because I thought other parts of it were great.
Deveraux's books are just... unexpected. You read the synopsis and expect a cute light read, but they are not like that at all! I love it. There is unexpected mystery, murder, mayhem... Stories you'll remember for a long time!

This was a very light read which had both intrigue, humor and a touch of romance wrapped up inside it. The story was very enjoyable. I would recommend this book to anyone who is a Jude Deveraux fan. She does not disappoint us with this novel. Enjoy!
This book was just okay for me. Not bad, not great. It was a fast read. Happy ending, yet very unbelievable. Kind of cheesy in some parts.

2 pen pals who look exactly alike and neither are satisfied with their lives decide to trade places and see what adventure awaits.
I normally don't "review" a book, I just make sure there's a synopsis. But this was my first Deveraux book---and my last. What a waste of $8.00. Immature plot, poorly developed characters, juvenile writing...how do these people get to be best selling writers? Must have a HUGE family. Please, someone---get this off my bookshelf!
Great Book!
An okay romance, not a favorite of mine but it still fun to read.
Hilarous story, great surprises and ending.
Friends who look enough alike to be twins, change places for one night, and it changes their lives forever.Good reading
Two look-alikes change identities.
What a cast of characters! And the plot twists are hilarious, you often forget there is a murder involved. Definitely a "can't put down" type of book.
An interesting, light read by a super author. 2, look alike cousins from very different backgrounds learn how "the other side lives", as well as their own roots, plus finding love.
I found the book to be a light hearted adventure/romance that made for a very quick read!!
When two cousins switch identities, anything can happen.
This was a little weird but a good read. It did have a nice wrap up in the ending which I do enjoy!
A real page turner. Jude Deveraux at her best.
Awesome book from a wonderful romance author. Set in my beautiful homestate of North Carolina.
too much like the parent trap for me
I loved this book- quirky and fun! Couldn't put it down...the ending was a little rushed but still good.
This book was a fun read, but not as good as some of Deveraux's other books.
fun read for the beach
I liked this book. It was a quick read.
I loved this book, I thought it was super cute. The characters, were funny and clever and interesting.
cover is different-- great book loved the story
I really enjoy Judes books and this one was no different! I enjoyed every page tell the end.
Look-alike cousins Sara and Ariel decide to switch lives. Together with the men in their lives, they are trapped on a wicked Carolina Isle.
A good, quick read!
First book I read by Deveraux and really enjoyed it. Book in very good condition.
A major disappointment...the story was nothing like the description given on the cover.
It was a great read!
Great book
Love Jude Deveraux characters and stories. I always hate to see them end and this was no exception. I will miss these people...we had a great time together!
The plot was great, but the ending was disappointing.
A very good book by Jude Dexeraux. Excellent read.

copyright 2006 - Jude Deveraux has done it again with mystery and sizzling romance.
Not Jude Deveraux's best, honestly. The characters could have been more developed.
On a scale from 1-10 I would have to rate this book a 7 1/2 it's not one of her greatest, but not one of her worst either. But the book does keep you guessing til the very end. A very quick read....
Pretty good mystery about cousins who try to switch places with each other. They get mixed up in murder and intrigue while away with two men on an isolated NC island. Would make a great beach readh
A nice, cute adventure for when you are feeling blue
Two female cousins who look alike but have different life styles - one wealthy and one average - trade places.
Double love story with adventure and intrigue. Enjoyable book
Classis Jude Deveraux, read it straight through!
