A nice and light read. Very enjoyable. A mystery told from the perspective of a widowed woman who turned 60. She has recently gone from an empty house to living with her 87-year-old mother-in-law and her recently widowed daughter. Throw in 3 dogs and a persnickety cat and you've probably got too much change to handle!

Lori Copeland's new cozy Morning Shade series finds Maude Diamond trying to find a thief you rearranges furniture and replaces old lamps for new. Maude is a writer and she finds her art does better imitating life as she solves the mystery.

Silly but fun mystery that will get you guessing and keep you laughing as you turn the pages!
This series is hilarious and this book is no exception to that. I love the main character and all those that live around her. Lori Copeland has taken this character and just let her be herself- funny, a bit eccentric, very real. Read this series and you won't be sorry you did.
I can't wait for her next in this series. Very enjoyable easy read.
