The world's first (and only) "paranormal detective" investigates the first (but not only!) murder on the Orient Express as the "Train of Spies" hurtles across Europe on the Eve of WWI. Real and fictional characters and events create a mix that rattles right along with it. I finished in one evening.

An inconsequential book, okay if there's absolutely nothing else to read. Supernatural element is downplayed to point of being as insubstantial as the supposed phantom. Cast of characters including famous real people is a distraction, not a bonus.

Nice mystery set on Orient Express. Reminds me of Christie and James Buchan.
