I am an adult and to be honest I liked reading something simple and easy to understand. I had originally wanted the main book but this was fine and I have read some of the stuff to my non believing family members and it raises eyebrows.

Strobel examines issues at the heart of science in language that is understandable. Although some parts are better than others, he does a good job of using a variety of evidence for his "Case for a Creator."
Quote-leftEven though this was a somewhat difficult book for me to get through because I'm not really into science, I'm glad I read it. I think the author did a good job of making it a book that can be understood even by non-science minded people like me. My one problem with the book was not really the book's fault at all. Everyone interviewed in the book, understandably, is trying to prove the same point, so I was left feeling like I really needed to do more research and listen to the other side and even if I did that, would I really be able to scientifically understand all that I was researching? I also had the wrong expectation for this book. The questions I had about creation it did not answer, but as it turns out the purpose of the book is in the title (which I guess I misread) - it is proving that there is a creator not the details of creation necessarily. Still, I good book and seems to be well researched.

I am not quite done with the book, but it is good in that it walks with an Atheist through his investigation of his own beliefs. He talks to a wide variety of intelects with very reasonable and rational arguments to each and every evolutionary theory. It is a tool for believers as they continually answer these arguments in their daily lives, or even correct their own thoughts that didn't even know what wrong.
