Set in Maine in 1820
Rescued after tragic and lonely years stranded on a remote island, Edward comes home to find his fiancée who he worked hard to stay alive to get back too. He is greeted with news that she engaged to his cousin. He also learns
his father has died and left the same cousin in charge of the family company.

His faith has grown much during his long seperation from the world and he leans on God to show him how to proceed taking each step with prayer. He
desires to be a good witness to the Lord.
