This is the second in the series and introduces the second cat, Yum Yum. In this book he is assigned to cover the Interior Design field and meets some really kooky characters

From back of book:
Jim Qwilleran is not exactly overwhelmed by his new assignment for the Daily Fluxion. Interior design has never been one of his specialties and now he's supposed to turn out an entire magazine on the subject every week!
But the first issue of Gracious Abodes is barely off the presses when Qwilleran finds himself back in more familiar territory - the exclusive residence featured on the cover has been burglarized and the lady of the louse if found dead... Now Qwilleran and Koko - the brilliant Siamese - have their respective moustache and whiskers twitching, and when Koko starts pawing clues in the dictionary and sniffing designer furniture, Qwilleran finds himself doing a feature on a very clever murderer.

This is one of the early books in the "Cat Who ... " series and has an important plot point - it's the book that tells you how the main character, Qwilleran, acquired Yum Yum, one of his two siamese cats.

This is the second book in the wonderful series. Qwill and KoKo are on the trail of a jade thief and murderer. Qwill is supposed to be writing about interior decorating when he comes across a dead interior designer. Well, actually KoKo leads him to the designer. Throughout the book KoKo starts to act strange by eating different types of wool, which in the end proves to solve a case. This is the book where Yum Yum comes into the picture. I really liked this book. I can't wait to read the next one.

Another cute easy read. These are the books I pick up in between heavier fiction and true crime. I can't wait to read the third installment and see how Yum Yum really fits n to the picture.

Qwilleran-a prizewinning reporter with a nose for crime. koko-a siamese cat with extraordinary talents and a flair for mystery. And introdicing yum yum-a lovable siamese adored by her two male companions. the most unlikely, most unusual, most delightful team in detective fiction.

A quick and fun read. Jim Qwilleran is assigned to create a weekly home interior magazine for the Daily Fluxion and before long he and his Siamese cat Koko are on the trail of a high society murderer.
Koko and Qwill are pussy footing into another "who done it". This duo serve up another modern twist. :)

Book Number Two in the "cat" series by Lilian Jackson Braun. Koko the cat solves mysteries with a little help from his human friend, Qwilleran, the reporter. I loved this book. Very interesting, and as mysteries go, a great one. I wasn't sure who the bad guys were until the very end.
Pick up this series on a "whim" and glad I did. Very good story, characters, plot. Smaller book so can be read in a few sittings.
This is a great book for any mystery lover. IT has everything from a psychic Siamese cat to a large collection of jade. I recommend this book, and give it 5 stars.
Jim Qwilleran, a news reporter for the Daily Fluxion, is assigned to do a magazine on grand houses called Gracious Abodes. His first assignment is on a family called the Taita. The next day, disaster strikes all over Moose County! The Taits grand Collection of Jade has been stolen! And to top it all off, Mrs. Tait is found dead! Will Qwilleran find the jade? Will Gracious Abodes be ruined? Read and find out!

Good read
In this second book, Yum Yum comes to live with Qwill and Koko.
Enjoyable book.
This was a fun, fast mystery. I kinda had it figured out early on, but enjoyed it nontheless. Worth a look for mystery readers everywhere if you've not experienced Lilian Braun before.
Great author, book read once.
