This is a charming, Christian story centering on cats. The parson moves into his new parsonage and there are many cats around. Since the area is rural, many are barn cats which no one takes to get neutered or spayed. So there are several pregnant cats about to give birth. The parson and his wife adopt two kittens from the same litter, two sisters. They get them spayed but I hated that they had them declawed. This was my personal big pet peeve. Anyway, you get an account of the kittens growing up and how each one displays their own different personality. While relating their antics and everyday routines, the parson sees how watching the cats growing up and making discoveries can actually be related into a learning moment from God. I found these snippets to be insightful, enlightening and entertaining. I recommend this small story to those who enjoy Christian themed stories and who also love animals but especially cats.
