Another high energy match up, lots of snappy dialogue. The hh is a professional fighter who receives a letter from a sister he hasn't seen or heard from since he was 9 years old. The a sad story unwinds as the sibs get to know each other again. I liked the general plot, but found the resolution of two of the lead characters' stories unbeleivable.

Known for her funny, sexy writing, Foster doesn't hesitate to turn up the heat. She writes about real people you'll fall in love with. Another wonderful book by Lori Foster!!

Fun read! This was the first novel I have read by Foster and I loved it! I thought I was going to be turned off by the extreme fighters, but I was totally into them. Big, strong hunks, sexy ladies, good storyline and a great ending!

Lori Forster has been a long time favorite of mine. This book certainly did not disappoint. I ordered all the SBC Fighters book at once so that I could read them together. This story features Dean "Havoc" Conor, a tough alpha-male who finds it difficult to reconcile his past hurts with his promising future. I thoroughly enjoyed watching how Dean and Eve's relationship evolved. In this book Foster sets the groundwork for the future books, as you meet many of the characters who appear in the other books--because of this, I recommend reading this one first before the others (Simon Says, Hard to Handle, My Man Michael). A great quick read!

This was the first Lori Foster book I read and I liked it. I think the ending got a little rushed and left some imagination as to what happens to the characters, but overall a good, quick read.

Loved this book! First in a series of 3...Second is Simon Says which I also have listed, and the Third is: Hard to Handle which has not been released yet! Very good, easy ready, and very enjoyable! The characters were easy to get into and relate to!

This was another great book by Lori Foster. She can always great such lovable characters that you can't get enough. This book was about Dean "Havoc" Conor who meets up with his two sisters after years apart. Then he meets his sister's friend Eve. During the book he has to come to terms with his relationship with his sisters, win Eve's heart, and expose a criminal who is trying to hurt his family.

Great read, lots of amusing dialog and unusual career information on the main character--he is an extreme fighter. Plenty of "hot" scenes and you don't start figuring out who the killer is until the very end.

My first Foster novel and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Good characters and decent plot - for contemporary romance/chic lit fare. I like Dean and Eve; Cam and Jackie... Lorna was odd and should have been more thoroughly developed and Roger was a tool, but I assume that was by design. The plot could have been easily more complex and/or drawn out but it wasn't bad. Will check out more of the SBC Fighters series.
Loved this book. This was the first of Foster's books and it won't be the last. I was drawn to each character and their story from the start and couldn't put the book down! Can't wait for the next one.
This was my first time for this author and it will definitely not be my last. I loved this story - not much depth but sometimes you just want to be easily entertained. I will be reading the rest of this series for sure.

This was great. Dean is a spectacular hero and a wonderful guy. At age nine, he is ripped from his sisters and for 20 years knows nothing of them. They are reunited when Camille sends him a letter asking for help. It seems that the sisters' guardian is stealing their inheritance and they are heavily in debt and living in a run down house. Of course, Dean smells a rat immediately and does his best to investigate the situation while falling in love with Eve, Camille's best friend. The secondary storyline of Jacki (his sister) and Gregor (one of his fighting buddies) is really romantic too. The love scenes are hot and the romance is sweet. What more can you ask for in a romance novel?
