I read parts of it for Cesar Chavez Day to my 4th grade class. Due to emphasis on state testing, 45 minutes was all I could spare. You could probably argue over the correctness of hundreds of statements in the book, and it sort of ends at the time the grape boycott was settled, in 1970. But it was a good introduction to the life of Cesar Chavez.
