some of your favorite books about Historical Hunks.   I like 'em tall, broad, smart and lusty.  The closest book to this catagory I can think of is God Is An Englishman which I read when I was 16.

Any suggestions....?

Oh my. Yea we love our historical hunks here! I am currently in love with Brunin FitzWarin in EC's "Shadows and Strongholds" He starts out as a quiet young boy but he grows up quickly and is in the running fir one of the best "wedding and bedding" scenes I've read. Sweet and spicy! I have also been in love with William Marshall, Llewelyn and at least two Simon's this year.

Sabin in Elizabeth Chadwick's Falcon's of Montabard heck let's face it any of her male characters are TDF. The Llewelyns in Sharon Penman's Welsh Trilogy, Ranulf in her When Christ and all The Saints Slept.   Uthred in Bernard Cornwell's Saxon series, Richard Sharpe in Bernard Cornwell's Sharpe series.   Nathaniel, in Sara Donati's Wilderness Series.  Nicolas Brisbane from Deanna Raybourns Silent In series.

Ok, I guess those Sara Donati's waiting on my shelf are going to get the dust blown off of them after all.  And then I can use the next one in the losing my virginity catagory.

The Wilderness series was one of my favorite reads for 2010, and would qualify for both categories.

Yes, Sabin and Brunin are a couple of my all time fav EC hunks. I'm with Christa, that wedding night was something. Loved the condition of the sheets afterwards devil Haven't read the Donatti books yet.

I'll second that, but hold out for the son, Fulke. smiley And Shelly ought to be along any minute to tell us how all of our hunks pale in comparison to Uhtred. LOL!

Pamela, technically you would have to count Into the Wilderness for the Deflowering category and then the second book for the Historical Hunks, since the Deflowering is for your first book by one of our top HF authors,  These books are also on my list of possibilities for 2011, but I don't have them in my hands yet.

So, Pamela, with your first book, you are looking for a hot man and in the second book, you are looking to lose your virginity....

You move a little fast, donchya???  :-D

Pamela, I'd agree that Adam Swann is a hunk. Delderfield was one of the authors on my grandparents shelves and I inhaled them all, right about the same age as you did. Great old stories!! I actually bought this trilogy when I realized it had been re-issued in nice trade paperbacks. ;-)

I need to start looking for those.  I have collected copies of the MMP but would love to have the larger books.  Off to shop........
