Good time travel with fairies who seem to mess up as much as do good
Elle turns in a coupon for a free husband and is sent back in time to 1799 England. She is about to be married to the earl of Allsbrook for her dowry. They both want love in a marriage even though their's is an arranged marriage.
Very good and has a touching ending
Very well-written time-travel romance. In this story, modern day Wilhemina (Elle) March is given a mysterious coupon "good for one free husband" by a homeless woman. When Elle decides to "redeem" her coupon, she finds herself (along with her dog Tatiana) transported back in time 200 years to rural England. Elle is switched by fairies with another young lady named Eleanor who is about to marry one Henry Trevalyan, an impoverished earl. The book is both sexy and funny, with some very funny scenes where Elle is trying to "fake" her way through a lack of knowledge of everyday life in the 1790s. Also, there are quite a few humorous scenes where Elle tries to introduce various modern conveniences (such as a flushing commode and playing cards with numbers) to her new husband.
The book has a surprising and touching ending.
This is Lisa Cach's debut novel, and the first one of her books that I have read. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading more books by Ms. Cach. Lots of fun!
I really enjoyed this book. It is lighthearted, sweet and a lot of fun. This is one of my favorite paranormal romances.
Time travel romance with a twist. Fairies switch the heroine with a young woman who died before her wedding.
Really enjoyed this time travel historical romance with a touch of fairy magic. Well written with an ending that wraps it up nicely and put a tear in my eye. My first read from this author. I will be checking out her other books.
