I am new here and one of the reasons I joined was so that I could swap out some of my son's books and get him some new ones. He loves to read and I think it would be fun for him to get some new books.

Do children's books (baby-3, 4-8) move fast enough on here if I just post them on my book shelf or does joining the box-o-books help with my issue. I was just thinking that if I could get some box-o-book offers for multiple books I could really change out his book shelf quickly.

Hope some of you seasoned swappers can help me out.

Thanks so much, Katy

Before someone says it.........I know I have not posted any children's books yet. I plan on doing that tonight.

How many copies are in the system?  You can put the book on your reminder list to see.

Offer deals.  With the light weight kid's books, this will help.  Either in the red sticky or in the Bargain Bazaar.

Post in the forums.  Folks are more likely to order directly from you if they know you are on line alot.

Put up recent books.  With the order more from feature, putting a popular book or series will get folks to look at your shelf.

Good luck.

I have been a member since last Nov.  My shelf is mostly children's books.  Quality children's books are requested quite often.  I'm at the Post Office multiple days in a week.

Don't get discouraged if things seem slow.  Some weeks you receive very few requests, the next week you can be bombarded!!!

Teacher's are already getting ready for next year, so most likely you'll find success as they look to increase their classroom libraries.  I know that's what I've been doing!!!  Best Wishes!!
