This story had a great beginning. From the very start the author had my attention and I was curious to know "who dun it". The middle of the book is all about her trip to the island and then her relationship with Shawn. The sex was really good, but the bdsm was definately on the lite side. Enough to be interesting but not too much to turn off those who dont like the heavy scenes of pain/humilation. Then there is the ending. For me this was silly. The author wraps it all up really quick leaving you wondering REALLY?? I still give the book 3.5 stars because she doesnt dissapoint me with the ending until the very end and the book was pretty good until then. Too bad she didnt do a better ending because this had been a really interesting story until then.

Ofcourse this is just one readers opinion. YOU might like the ending. AND it is typical in that there was a definate "happily ever after".

There are a couple menage scenes as well as some light female/female sex.
